Ahhhh, the 'ol National Championship runner up team.Congrats! That is amazing. It is starting to feel like 2012-2013! Boy oh boy reading this was a stroll down memory lane.
Iowa finished the non-conference schedule with an 11–2 record, including wins over in-state rivals Iowa State and UNI. It was the best non-conference record since the 2004–2005 season, and the best by a McCaffery team at Iowa. Iowa finished the regular season with a 20–11 record including 9–9 in conference play, resulting in an NIT bid. Iowa ended up as the NIT runners-up. McCaffery also picked up his 300th career win as a head coach on March 9 when Iowa beat Nebraska 74–60.
Ahhhh, the 'ol National Championship runner up team.
For what, exactly?
I'm to the point now where I don't even worry or care about the ISU vs Iowa game in football or basketball.
I mean obviously you want to win the game just for bragging rights and so you don't have to hear all year long how pathetic ISU is from Hawk fans, but the game itself it turns out doesn't usually mean a whole lot. In football it might matter if you're in the hunt for the National Championship game, but if not, then it really doesn't.
In basketball, no matter what happens, ISU usually always ends up being the better team at the end of the year. And in football, look at this year, Iowa beat us, and we're CLEARLY the better team now, and that's all that matters.
I'm fully anticipating a loss this year in Carver. Iowa always looks best at the start of the year, and then they regress as the season goes on. ISU will not be nearly the team in Carver that they will be by the time the conference season rolls along. We will be without Young for sure, probably Wigginton, and who knows about Lard and Talley? That's 4 possible starters right there.
They are Frantastic. So Iowa is clearly the better basketball team, right?
they have to watch in fast forward to make look like time lapse.Luka Garza is so slow they time his 40 yd dash with a calendar.
Luka Garza is so slow, Iowa coaches need to load more coal into him during halftime.
Luka Garza is so slow one of those tree creatures from Lord of the Rings killed itself waiting for Luka's answer to a question.
Luka Garza is so slow HE chases the zombies.
Luka Garza is so slow he doesn't get 3-second violations. He gets parking tickets.
Luka Garza is so slow you have to watch his games in time-lapse video.
Luka Garza is so slow, he is slower than CF mobile.they have to watch in fast forward to make look like time lapse.

SorryAlways knew squawk fans were pretty sick, but never put you out as a necrophiliac! My mom has been dead for 10 years. Man, you are pretty sick.
Just to help you out here, since most hawk fans never made it past the 6th grade, a necrophiliac is a person that has a fetish and sexual urges with corpses.
Garza is so slow, geologists named a tectonic plate after him.Luka Garza is so slow, he is slower than CF mobile.
