Yea really need to stop shading cardinal with another shade of cardinal. How about using an actual shade like black? Old walking Cy everyone loves has black in it. I copy and pasted to paint and did one click and thought it already looks better...kinda, obviously not a pro here:

You're in luck, it will happen Saturday.I was able to view the video on my tablet, so now I've seen the combo. Looks promising. If they were using the white-on-black helmet that goes with the all-black look, it wouldn't go together. This has potential, though ... curious to see it with full team in-game.
Probably has been mentioned, but does any one else hate the I-State logo visor they put on the helmet for the combo releases?
I like the colored visor without the logo better than the one with. That being said, I wish they could wear either one during the game.Absolutely not. Wish we could wear colored visors during games. Still don't understand the rule against it, honestly.

Speaking of helmets, why aren't they more like motorcycle helmets to prevent grabbing or pulling a facemask?

My interpretation of the visor and the #18 jersey is to keep the release as a generic "player" as to not specifically highlight one specific guy. The visor allows the face to be hidden to keep the focus on the jersey combo.
Are you sure because I can almost guarantee that that was Hakeem Butler in the video!
It's Eisworth. Notice the tattoo on his right arm (and lighter skin).
No idea why he stole Hakeem's jersey...
Vertebrae injury protocol. If a player is injured to the point of being immobile, they want to be able to examine the player's eyes without removing the helmet. Moving the head or neck could potentially cause further damage.

High-school and pee-wee leagues prohibit all but clear visors. This rule was enacted so that training staff and coaches can easily view a player's face and eyes in the case of a serious injury, to discern if the player is conscious.[citation needed] The NCAA banned the use of tinted visors for the same reason, and the NFL has followed suit as well. However, players with eye problems may still obtain special permission to wear tinted visors, some notable examples being LaDainian Tomlinson and Chris Canty.
I can understand that. Why doesn't someone make a new type of visor that can potentially pop out fairly easily if a head or neck injury were to happen?
