ISU QBs are like 'Spinal Tap' drummers.
Let's just hope the Purdy kid makes it through ok.
About time you made it in here. I know you think this Purdy kid is good but "are worried CMC will ruin him"

When debating who has the better talent, it's never wise to side with the team who has less players in the NFL than Troy, Old Dominion etc. and are 108th among colleges. Iowa on the other hand, has the 16th most. So when in doubt, it's a safe assumption the answer is Iowa.

Since I know SOS is bound to come up soon, since it's ISU fans default deflection (while seemingly ignoring our SOS was much higher last year) I'd like to point out that our Strength of Record is #20 to ISU's #45 ranking and our remaining SOS is tougher. It doesn't matter who you play when you can't beat them anyway.

Agreed. I'm not sure I ever said Richardson was better than CJ and if I did it was because he was proven to be average like Stanley. I said many times CJ was a better QB than Lanning was
Stanley is a middle of the road QB in a conference with not great QB's. Those are the facts

You don't think he is good, but he will be drafted?
But he isn't a good college QB?
But he isn't a good college QB?
He's a middle of the road Big Ten QB who will get drafted on potential due to his size and arm strength. I'm not sure what the NFL has to do with his college abilities. He's proven so far he's an average QB in a league where QB's aren't great. That much isn't debatable
He finished his first season as a starter throwing for more touchdowns than any ISU QB in the entire history of their program, but yeah, he is no good. He seems to have improved from last year, but yeah, he is no good.
Are you really trying to say he's anything better than an average Big 10 QB?
Not sure where he stacks up when it comes to that, just saying he is a good college qb.
Doesn't make much sense.
Is this true?He finished his first season as a starter throwing for more touchdowns than any ISU QB in the entire history of their program, but yeah, he is no good. He seems to have improved from last year, but yeah, he is no good.
Career 137 QB rating which doesn't include all of his fumbles which is an obvious issue doesn't classify as "good" to me in 2018 but OK. I mean that's the same as Park and barely ahead of Lanning and those guys played real schedules and I doubt you would say either of them were "good" and they didn't have fumbling issues
Is this true?
Interesting first ever post.
