Hawkeye fans are the most delusional fanbase in America, and Jon is the king of them all. They've beaten Northern Illinois and Northern Iowa, and us playing our first game of the year. They had 3 points at halftime against Northern Illinois and us, both. They're just lucky they play in that worthless west division of the Big 10 every year.

At some level he is right, Iowa was probably better than WI on paper. On the other hand, guys making mistakes like the TOs is part of the game. Is ISU better than Iowa if you take away the 2 12 yard punts and the guys blowing deep coverage on a couple plays? Or how about all those ISU teams that outgained Iowa by 100 and turned the ball over 3 times? You can't pick and choose what events in a game you want to keep and what you want a do over on.

Iowa was in control of that game with 8 minutes left in the game after 2 really stupid TOs. Not saying that Iowa is a great team, and also not saying WI is a great team. They were very equally matched and Iowa made enough mistakes to lose the game. I have no problem saying Iowa is a good team. Their offense is not very good, but the defense is pretty salty. In the end the WI QB, who tends to throw multiple bad passes a game, hit several passes and they won.

I may be in the minority, but I don't think ISU is better than Iowa. I don't think that Iowa is that much better than ISU either. That game was pretty darn close. ISU certainly screwed up a lot in that game, so I think that offsets Iowa missing a couple FGs.

I also don't see a lot of ISU fans thinking that if we can just win one early game we are in line for the conference championship.

I totally agree. Now please start holding @CyTwins to this standard as well. I mean it is kind of odd that you have said this to me multiple times, and other Hawk fans as well, but you have never called out @CyTwins for doing this.
