Ferentz's Emphasis on the ISU Game

Who said I was offended?
I find it comical how kurt had to bring up the community service ********.
This was the question that was asked...

Q. The four guys that were suspended, you mentioned you might have them doing something different this week. What was kind of the -- what did you have them doing instead of playing in the game?

You said he was an arrogant dbag for answering a question. So, yeah, you must have been offended.

He an arrogant dbag. In no way does that mean I am or was offended. Nice try

Kurt ferents presser was interesting. He even is crying about our suspended players. What a puss.

You literally made stuff about him in the attached post and called him arrogant dbag for answering a question truthfully. That shows zero arrogance. So either you're not very intelligent or offended.

Kirk Ferentz acknowledging their Superbowl....

"Shifting gears, right now, certainly our focus is totally on Iowa State getting ready for this ballgame. It’s certainly a special game for everybody involved. I think nothing new there. It’s a great rivalry, certainly, and one that we’re really excited about being part of.

And I think it’s not only exciting for our players, for our coaches, for alums, fans in the state, but people across the country. It’s just a really great thing for everybody, I think.

The game means a lot for us. It means a lot for all of our team"

LOL your players literally called it the Super Bowl... Twice

About the only surprising remark here Tuesday was Cyclones starting offensive guard Josh Knipfel of Hampton twice calling the game “the Super Bowl of the state.”

You could almost swap that out with any Ferentz press conference ever. Coach speak. But I don't doubt this is a big game. One of the bigger CyHawk games I can remember actually.

Wow!!! No way to spin that.

I wouldn’t consider 32 inches “freak athlete” status, but I played college basketball (only DIII, so I use that phrase lightly) and was the best all-around athlete on the team. I don’t think it’s very surprising that an upperclassman college athlete would have a better vertical jump than a bunch of 17 and 18 year old kids. I’m not sure why you care so much to bring this up days/weeks after the fact, though.
so your vertical jump is better then the NBA average? and you only went DIII? I've worked with a guy who played DIII, and another who's still playing JUCO basketball and know how much of a joke the Strength and conditioning programs are. not really above some of the metro/suburban school's programs (especially when it comes to basketball).

Only brought it up because it was the 1st page that the forum loaded back into, when I clicked on this thread again. but we all ready know how much of a big talker you are.
