Ferentz's Emphasis on the ISU Game

Remember he calls Kempt noodle arm based off of the same half against team that has a better defense than Iowa, which is impossible because no one in the B12 plays defense.

It’s debatable whether TCU had a better defense than Iowa. But anybody who watched Kempt throw the ball further than 25 yards can see he doesn’t have a strong arm. Why else would the ISU staff spend all offseason talking about how much stronger Kempt’s arm supposedly is?

Well, for a start, not saying a player is "offensively elite" in basketball but shouldn't start for anyone in the power conferences.

The fact that you think those two statements are contradictory is hilarious.

To a homer like you apparently.

Perhaps not, but I think if that were to happen a large portion of the fan base would be very loudly demanding some type of changes from the coaching staff.

I know you struggle with this like you do on here, but it would be a vocal minority.

The fact that you don't think that's contradictory is mind boggling.

Garza was poorly conditioned and bad defensively- last year he wasn’t able to play more than 20-25 minutes at full effort. I don’t see how you are incapable of understanding that.

Depends on how they reach that record. If they lose a bunch of close games, it probably would be. If the offense struggles and they get blown out a couple times, I don’t think it would be.

The whole Iowa basketball team is bad at defense so....

And you can be elite in an area of basketball and still start. Dennis Rodman was an elite defender and was absolutely critical to teams he was on.
Last year Trae Young was an elite offensive player and how many schools would he start for? Probably 99%

Garza’s conditioning wasn’t good enough to play more than 20-25 minutes at peak efficiency. I don’t know why that is so hard for you to understand.

Because its a stupid statement.

You have to be trolling, because I don’t think you are this stupid. If a player isn’t in good shape, they will get tired more easily. Players are not as effective when they are tired. It’s not a difficult concept to understand.
