Ferentz's Emphasis on the ISU Game

Don’t like seeing Kallenberger starting at tackle on the OL. He didn’t seem ready on the kids day practice.
Most of these guys are average to below average players. Epenesa has potential, I'll give you that, but he won't see the field all that much again this year.
I learned my lesson from last year. It will be closer than it should be because Iowa prepares for this game all off season. I still say we win 31-20 this year. Should be worse but the fighting chickens will be all fired up. After they lose the game they are going to be wondering how they can possibly get to 6 wins and realize that this is now a CYCLONE STATE!!!!!
CBs and LBs. I think Amani Jones will step up and be solid in the middle, and I think Hankins has a lot of potential. Oji struggled last year. So biggest concerns are how much he's improved and the other CB and LBs being unproven.
I think the defense will really struggle for you this year. I honestly have no idea how Iowa fans think they are going to be able to handle Montgomery this year with 3 new LBs. You couldn't handle them with the guys you had last year.
These are all just opinions. Some will be right and some will be wrong. Therefore, the answer isn't so clear. I'm not certain that ISU's Oline is better than anybody's.
I have heard great things coming out of camp about the o-line. One of CMC's best lines ever.
You don't win games, scoring 30+ points, if your Oline is one of the worst. Pass blocking, we have a better than average line last year. I havent seen this years yet but I would guess they wouldnt be significantly worse with 3-4 returning starters.

True. But a lot of unknowns at this point. Coaches and spectators can say all of the great things they want, but you don't really know what you've got until they do it on game day.

The funniest part about your prediction last year is that you predicted ISU to beat Iowa by more points than they have in almost 40 years. ISU almost never blows Iowa out in football. They have won a lot of the close games to their credit, but almost never do they blow Iowa out and that was what you predicted last year. One of the worst predictions I have ever seen TBH.
The last four games ISU has beat Iowa have been by 3, 3, 3, and 2 points, yet you predicted a blowout!
A few WR, OL, LB & DB's I don't recognize.
Same could be said for ISU from an outsider as well.
