"Tongamoa, who told officers he “fled the scene” of the collision out of fear, consented to a blood alcohol test, which registered a BAC of .107 percent. The legal limit is .08 percent. The Van Nuys, Calif. native was then arrested for OWI first offense and booked in the Story County Jail. He was released later Sunday morning on a bond of $1,900.
In addition to OWI, Tongamoa was charged with striking an unattended vehicle, failure to have a license or permit while operating a motor vehicle and failure to prove security against liability."
