Ferentz's Emphasis on the ISU Game

"Colin Cowherd thinks Stanley might be the best college QB in the country. Crazy, but I know you guys value his opinion."

This cannot be true. Stanley is on none of the top 25 quarterback lists, where you find such players as Kyle Kempt. Stanley is not on the Johnny Unitas Watch List, but you will find Kempt there. Cowherd must be sucking up to Iowa fans if he actually made such a ridiculous statement.

Oh he said it alright. And we all know CC knows his stuff when it comes to Iowa football.

There's a reason Stanley isn't on the Unitas list, players on the list have to be either a senior or a fourth-year junior. Since Stanley played as a true freshman, he's only a third-year junior. So yes, Stanley is not on the Unitas list.

Both schools like their quarterbacks. As they should.

While you’re waiting can you provide the link to Campbell saying that he’s rather beat Iowa than win the conference. Thanks pal!

We went over this about a week ago. Look through the threads if you’d like to see it.

You trust his judgement when he took all those kids that were misses over JGJ and Meeker?

Very impressive by Brands. Should keep them third in the conference

We are fine on the line. We shall see how JGJ and Meeker hold up against Iowa's D line in just a few weeks now.

How did Stanley have 7 fumbles last year if the OL was solid?

Man, two of his fumbles were balls that literally fell out of his hands with no one hitting him. I hadn't seen one like that in a long time but dude did it two times in one season. Two of those are directly on Nate for sure.

I think it will be more difficult than hawks think. I see Lee pulling an ORS and not being in the lineup that year.

Won't be easy, I'm sure PSU will be right there. I think the following year's lineup could be even nastier.

Yikes. I don't think fatter fingers are going to help his grip on the ball either

Iowa averaged 3.8 ypc last year. When was the last time Iowa had an OL put up numbers that low?
