Returning? No. Foster sucked last year but he's a former top 350 recruit and he doesn't appear to be starting this year. All the new guys this year are unproven unlike Iowa who has a lot of guys in the mix for lots of playing time that did indeed suck last year

Dan is great. One of my family members is great friends with Dan. Great person. Recruiting was likely downfall. He was the game captain for a Hawk game not long ago and got huge applause. Well liked by fans of both schools.
Yep he would always get the team fired up for the big rivalry game and then fizzle out at the end of the year similar to how KF has been the 7 or so years
What made Dan was hiring the right people right away. He was a very poor in game coach. His recruiting tanked at the end. When the initial staff members started leaving the traction started slipping.
At least Dan helped right the ship in Ames and heading better direction.
I loved Mac, always will but didn't love his strategy to go all in for a non conference game like him and KF did/do
Guess I’m a little different. I liked him, never loved him due to what he did between hiring and employment. I always had a bad taste in my mouth from that.
Might have been due to the fact that, I would guess with how much he drank the nights before games, he was hung over.
Steele Jantz made Iowa look silly his second game. One game doesn’t define a player.
