Ferentz's Emphasis on the ISU Game

I drank a lot in college but never so much to say something this dumb

Maybe “unquestioned” is a bridge too far, but the Big Ten is overwhelmingly considered the best conference this season. The only other conference that has an argument is the SEC, but their upper-middle of the pack teams are always overrated in the preseason.

According to who? Iowa might have one of the easiest conference schedules of any P5 team in the country

Near double digit numbers of people living in trailers with a Tiger Hawk painted on the side are absolutely certain!

Wow, I never knew that Iowa distributed their Fake IDs to the rest of their conference.

Way to go out on a limb. It's hard to say exactly how tough a schedule is until the season plays out. Iowa's schedule appears to be more favorable than last year. Replacing Penn State, Michigan State and Ohio State as crossovers with Penn State, Indiana and Maryland could be a net win or two for Iowa.

Outside of Penn State, most of the likely good opponents are in Iowa City (ISU, Wisconsin, Northwestern).

Please help me understand...

You and Gonzo mocked me when I said he had other schools after him not listed on his 247 profile that was later confirmed by 247 staff members and then a nugget gets dropped he's arguably the best recruit they've ever brought in which in my mind only strengthens my argument he was a big get

Lol no it's not. You can look at the schedule and see it's very favorable

LMAOOOOOOOO.

How so? I told you Auburn wanted him, you mocked that and now they're saying this:

Side note: I was told true freshman defensive end Will McDonald is the best player this staff has ever recruited to Ames

Look, the SEC gets too much media hype but you are just overly biased and selling them short. A coach of a premier ACC school and top 10 job just left to go to a middle of the pack, underachieving SEC program. Yes, money matters but the jobs, schools, and talent in the SEC are crazy good.

I'm confused but I usually am by your nonsense
Your argument was literally about Auburn. A school that nobody (Iowa State Football website, rivals, espn, and your boys at 247) have an offer listed for.

I shouldn't have to explain your own posts to you. It's literally in the post...

I think his point is....pre-season teams can be projected to be poor but surprise.

See 2017 ISU. Pre-season ISU wasn't projected as a tough opponent and wouldn't do much for your pre-season SOS projection. Ended up not being the case....
