Twins I saw you disagree. Recruiting and transfers in these situations there is an incredible level of due diligence done by the accepting program. You have to beleieve that sdsu’s Coaching staff are bunch of rubes if they would just accept the kid. The coach there isn’t a rookie. He has been around the game for a longtime. His success speaks for itself.
Kids can make mistakes and no longer be suitable fit, but still have the support of the staff. Fresh starts are good I.e. Fred Hoiberg’s approach to our b-ball program.
The post I originally linked talked about Snyder being suspended from the bowl and the facilities. I found that odd. I could see if he was suspended from a game, but to banish him from facilities seems like a staff that doesn’t want to help those who made mistakes. From what we are told, the OWI was his first offense so it seems really odd to break off so much for one mistake. That is why I mentioned wirfs, you would figure they would have similar hits for similar offenses.
I hear you. The coaching community is tiny. I just don’t see How Kirk would benefit by taking a risk by vouching for the. The risk makes no sense.

All I’ve got is to say that every situation has to be different. Barring a kid from fall practice until after the first game seems pretty harsh for an OWI. I know absolutely no one in the program and certainly have no first hand insights.

It's unlikely anyone other than the parties involved what happened between the original incident and his announcement that he was leaving. I'm fairly confident that Kirk didn't just decide to make an example out of him out of the blue.

The first was true when I posted. The second is absolutely true, at least that I’ve seen. Twins and other posters have no interest in talking about the game but hijack threads for other purposes. I guess I’d put buddy in that as well.
