And now @cycloner29 is disagreeing with my posts in this thread. Its right there in black and white from Halsted and he still disagrees with it. I mean, I know an Iowa offer is a big deal but Newell will do just fine even though he didnt have one.
Halsted put on the VIP board Newell had an Iowa offer. I'm not going to disagree with him and his VIP info and I'm certainly not going to call Colin and his family liars

I am not being obtuse. I don't think you know what that word means. If that is what Collin says then I believe him. But you have some serious issues with taking things way too seriously on here. No need to call people names and curse at people just because there is conflicting info on line about whether a kid was offered by a school. Not that big of deal. Perspective is a good thing.

You guys are getting really good at doing things that distract from the terrible product on the field. Don't get my wrong, it's all really nice. Give the fans something to feel good about while their team struggles to get to 6 wins against an awful schedule this year.
That is really awesome. I travel a lot and whenever I wear my hawkeye gear people almost always mention how cool the wave is and how it is such a great thing for those kids.
6 or 7. They will probably beat somebody they shouldn't. You guys do seem to do that once in awhile. Twice last year actually. Don't see how you win much more than that with no receivers, no linebackers, and no proven running backs. Also a questionable defensive backfield from what I understand.
I went to the wear green for Greenwood game at Kinnick (and wore green) and that was pretty emotional to see.
