A week or so before the season, I predicted Iowa to win 27-17. I am going to stay pretty close to that but take away a FG for each squad.

Crazy stat that I just read about this series in the KF era.

The series is tied at 9-9.

The point differential in those 18 games is Iowa +111.

Exactly what I've been saying. ISU has been very fortunate to win those 9 games with most by very slim margins. Most of the time, those even out. If you played the same 18 games again, Iowa would more than likely have a 11-7 advantage.

I don't know what to think this year. I had an idea last year's game would turn out like it did going into it, but this year I don't know. I think Iowa's defense has to carry the team to win this one. I don't see Iowa's offense scoring a ton of points and a lot hinges on Stanley's play at QB.

Actual prediction: 38-17 Clones with a blowout in Ames. You have a young QB making his first road start. We have an outstanding secondary that will make him pay for all of his mistakes. Our offense will get in rhythm and it will all be down hill from there.
