Iowa -7 vs ISU

On paper they should kill you guys again this year but 7 all Americans is pretty generous lol

Well, I won't be playing in the game but I think they will breeze through the West unless their losses on defense affect them more than anticipated. But lately they have been plug and play on defense.

I don't think that is generous at all. If you look at NFL draft boards for next year they have 3-4 potential first round picks on their OL. T.J. Edwards is a potential first rounder. Dixon may be a tad high but still a good bet to be an All-American.

Sorry I meant on paper they should kill the team you root for

I'm seeing 1 first round pick, not 5

ESPN NFL draft analyst Todd McShay released a very early version of his 2019 mock draft this week, and three Wisconsin offensive linemen were projected as first-round picks. McShay had Badgers tackle David Edwards going 19th overall, guard Beau Benzschawel going 20th and tackle Michael Deiter going 22nd.

Dieter, Edwards and Bennzshawel all made All American teams last year. Biadasz was a first team freshman all american is the top center in his class and one of the top couple in the country.

What player on their All American list do you have a problem with? The only one I see that may be overrated is Dixon but he is a senior and a first team all big ten safety. Not really surprising to put him on there. But all three OL deserve to be on there. Taylor deserves to be on there. Edwards deserves to be on there and so does the kicker.

Dixon being 2nd team AA is laughable. I wouldn't have Gaglionone on there either. He wasn't even first team all conference last year and the guy ahead of him didn't sniff any AA honors

So who would your 4th team all american kicker be?

Hush now. Thought you’d like this with an early look at ESPNs FPI ranking. Note the team in the 25th spot. According to this, ISU is 4th, behind Penn State, Wisconsin, and Northwestern. Personally, I would say Minnesota is a tougher game as well, since it’s in the road. Purdue as well, again on the road. Overall I would say that ISU is about 7th. And based on this, how much tougher is the Big Ten as a conference. Wow!
