How about you answer this question. How does your head football coach look at a kid like Jake and tell him he no longer is going to get a scholarship and sleep at night?

Sadly, If he can keep playing CJ during a game where he's barely upright, I think he'll probably sleep ok.

If it’s your fifth year and you want to stay D1, then yes only way to transfer is graduated. So if KF did pull it and he hasn’t graduated, it is a pretty crappy thing to do.

The worst part is he's from Davenport and grew up an Iowa fan so his dream was finishing his career up at Iowa. Now he doesn't know what he's going to do because he never thought he'd be put in a situation where he would have to transfer

Maybe he didn’t understand and his scholarship was non comittable.

You said Gervase or Jackson was the worst player in Iowa's secondary during last season and now you find it unfathomable that he didnt get his scholly renewed.

I thought he really struggled during the Iowa State game last year as did Jackson on that one play. To blindside a kid and pull his scholarship as a senior who started last year is a pretty awful thing to do IMO. I'm sure you disagree because everything Kirk does is great

The river wasnt so much the problem. It crested around 11 and a half feet, flood stage is 10.

It was the fact we got 8-10 inches of rain in 48 hours. A lot of peoples homes couldnt handle the rainfall and took on water.
