All I have to say is "the system" didn't make him lazy on defense and prevent him from developing an outside shot. He can "develop" just fine in that "system". Most of it is on him IMO....

T Cook shot like (1) 3pter his entire senior year in HS..he simply didn’t need to shoot..

You can’t take a 6’9 PF who has no outside shot and is entering his 3rd year of college and suddenly make him even an occasional 3pt threat. T Cook needs to develop 1-2 more moves around 15 feet out and improve his defense IMO

But is that a Tyler Cook issue or a Fran issue for not developing/utilizing those skills.
Fans shouldn't just point the finger at Tyler and say it is 100% on him, part of it has to go to coaching, rotation, and the system.

If I could sum up the Hawk D in one word it'd be.....late.

Late on closing out, switching, helping out.....just late. (I'd say the same for ISU)

That can be improved but we'll have to wait and see.

ESPN does have an article on Wigginton coming back to ISU but nothing on Cook. You tell me what that means....
