Might have wanted to stay close to home and Mizzou was garbage and Illinois still is.
Didn’t we offer him? Maybe he had uncertainty if around our coaching change, but certainly run more of the offense the mom is describing.
We would have probably landed him if Fred was still here. Fred took the private plane to recruit him and thought we were in a good spot with him
