Wigginton declaring for NBA Draft, not hiring agent

Also, you guys are telling me that if your dream job/goal suddenly became an option, you wouldnt at least loom into it? Lindell has to make the best decision for HIM and HIS FAMILY. Not a bunch of anonymous middle aged men you apparently have worries about being premature.

Woh now, getting a little personal aren't we?

Did he even go to class 2nd semester? I never heard anyone say he was even on campus after the season ended. If I'm wrong -- EDIT: and apparently I am -- I apologize.
If he didn't this thread is moot.

There must be some workaround or schedule juggling that allowed for it. If he knew that testing the waters would ultimately make him academically ineligible then he would have just hired an agent and gone all in right from the jump.

There are always workarounds.

I am always curious about when a player decides to opt out of school and hire themselves an agent at the deadline... What more could an agent do from that point? Isn't the agent's main goal to market their client to teams and workouts? If a player opts to hire an agent with a month out, it seems like their main tasks are no longer available (besides structuring of contract).

The main task at that point would be selling the client to a team in order to get them drafted (in other words the exact opposite that Lazzard's agent did for him).

For an athlete in Lindell's situation, does the player have to pay his own way for travel/lodging at all these private workouts, or are they able to accept that from the NBA team?

Unless he is still working out with teams today, surprises me he waits until tomorrow.

Why? Frankly, it seems surprising to me he’d wait so long because it seems clear that he won’t get drafted. But if he’s made it this far, it’s not shocking he’d wait until tomorrow.
