Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

A significant percentage of turnovers offensively is luck-based. One perfectly placed helmet is all it takes to make even the most secure ball carriers fumble. Also, I’m not sure Kempt is so great with ball security. He had quite a few throws last year where he just kind of threw it up for grabs, and his receivers were able to come down with the ball. With Lazard gone, that’s probably not going to be as successful.

Well the numbers strongly disagree with that

You’re scared. Not only insecure and ignorant, but scared. Lol. You are the most pathetic poster on this whole site

You have anger management issues, man. You take this stuff wayyyyyy too seriously. I would argue that the real loser here is the person who continuously throws a hissy fit because someone they disagree with is posting on a message board.

No. You are a waste. Quit coming back. You set the bar for hawk stupidity and that is saying something.

Go away and stop coming back with new usernames to lower the aggregate iq of this place by 5 points.

God you’re a ******* moron. Why are you here? Why are you so worthlessly insecure and such a ******* loser you keep getting new email addresses so you can reregister after getting banned.

To call you pathetic would be an insult to dan. Jeff reninga things you’re a sorry sack.

Grow some self esteem. Iowa doesn’t ******* matter in the scope of the NCAA. Get over being a sad whiny ***** and just leave

Get with the process. Its not due to luck, its due to the attention (or lack there of) to detail.

Oh, that’s all it is? Coach’s Campbell has it all figured out- you just have to pay attention to details. Hopefully he keeps that little tip a secret- wouldn’t want other coaches to know that all they have to do to avoid turnovers is tell their players to pay attention to details.

That is true that a lot of TOs are luck based but there are things you can do do minimize TOs.
Also, I would argue that many of those balls Lazard caught were in places he was only going to get them, or in other words, they would end up incompletions rather than interceptions.

Precisely! I mean even Iowa's coaching staff is embracing the process and tweeting about it.

Attention to detail is what makes CMC so good IMO

I don't think you can believe this. Have you seen our recruiting? Not to mention we are loaded this year. I think we win 9 including a win in IC. Won't be easy, but we are going to be much better so hopefully we can overcome the Superbowl factor.
Pretty optimistic. Lets see if our oline can run block first.

I think you're leaving out a few Baylor transgressions...

Well, as Kirk has proven, the program is bigger than a little assault.

Also because I’m not a sheep like you girls are, I don’t blindly root for other schools in my conference. Baylor football can lose every single game for the rest of eternity, and I would be happy.

You guys have already turned a blind eye to penn st after they endorsed child abuse, and rooted for them because they’re big 10. You’ve been on Michigan States jock all these years because of basketball. It won’t change.

And you should feel bad about that

College Football Reference's computer rankings had ISU as #82 (out of 128) in 2015.

#88 in 2016

#26 in 2017

Sorry, but the improvement in the program is real. There was some luck in some games, but there was some terrible luck in some other games. Everybody who gives even a cursory glance at the roster and recruiting would see that in a moment.

National writers without a dog in the fight have recognized it, as well.

Thing is, Iowa's program has stepped it up some lately, too.

So it is kind of unclear which is going to emerge the better.

Ferents stepped on his **** a while back after getting success and not capitalizing. He should have should have scheduled one more exciting OOC game.
