You have to look at who is offering these guys. Plus, we were beating you when we weren't getting this level of recruiting. Imagine what we will do with this much talent.

#88 in 2016

#26 in 2017

Sorry, but the improvement in the program is real. There was some luck in some games, but there was some terrible luck in some other games. Everybody who gives even a cursory glance at the roster and recruiting would see that in a moment.

National writers without a dog in the fight have recognized it, as well.

Thing is, Iowa's program has stepped it up some lately, too.

So it is kind of unclear which is going to emerge the better.
