Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

All fair observations. Not sure why this thread can't be more like this.

Its because there is less objective views and more troll views. Which in turn gets me to point out things that can make people angry and childish.

ISU is going to be a good team next year. Iowa will be a notch or 2 below them. The future in Iowa City rests in the 2019 class.

He was going to redshirt before any of that happened. Derp

Actually he wasnt.

Williams transferring caused them to decide to not RS him. He then turned an ankle and missed a few games before playing a couple and then getting mono.

The plan was to play him this year before the injuries and illness took over.

You got it Dan!

Dont you feel ridiculous? Constantly trumpeting that Iowa has played such a weaker schedule since the B1G expanded only to realize its the exact same for the 11 seasons prior to the expansion.

"Derp" doesnt do you post justice.

He was going to redshirt until Williams put the depth chart into a fiasco right before the start of the season.

Bump for @JP4CY , you should do some research next time before posting.
Man, I went thru that 2011-2017, thank God Iowa had the good team rotation in '17 (#5) 2011-16 had rankings of 39,39,43,60,52,33.
I bet with the rotation in '18 and '19, it climbs again and they don't have a good SOS again until '20.

And? am i wrong? That was the last Hoiberg class that was super talented that year. They could have coached themselves

Your statement was that you were looking at the whole year. So, it's not really about you being wrong, so much, as you blatantly contradicting yourself within a single post..

Link?

So he can either play baseball or play 3 years with his brother.....

That seems like a pretty terrible move. Your dad's seat is warm and you are going to redshirt when you can help the team so you can play with your brother even though fans will want your dad fired by that time?

The no trolling troll is asking if I should feel ridiculous?

I know that, but Twins said he was planning to redshirt before the injuries and illness happened which is not the case after Williams left.

Williams was going to be the backup PG last year if he didn't leave. Connor was going to redshirt because he couldn't beat him out for the spot. It's not complicated

If Williams didn't leave Connor was going to redshirt because Williams was better. That's what I'm saying. Sorry if you misunderstood what I meant. Obviously once Williams left for greener pastures they said Connor was going to play

You replied to my post saying he was going to RS before all the injuries/illness happened. That isnt true after Williams transferred.
