If he makes the USA team him and Patrick are trying out for it will most likely be towards the end of the summer. If he doesnt make that team, he is expected to take some visits during the week that Team USA is playing games and that could speed up his decision a little.
Hopefully both him and Patrick make it that way Fran can tag along as a "parent".
I never said that. I think we need a little more time to evaluate him. One 8 win season and you are ready to call him a "great" coach? I thought we were raising the standard up in here?

Iowa only had 4 wins against teams with an overall .500 record or better; Drake (17-17), UAB(20-13) Grambling(17-14) and Colorado(17-15).
In other words the majority of their wins came against teams with losing records and the majority of those also had losing conference records.
6 of their wins came against teams ranked 249 or worse on Ken Pom.
They had only 2 top 100 ken pom wins; Northwestern #85 and Wisconsin at #70.
Didn't beat any major conference team with a winning conference record.
They had 10 losses by double digits, 9 of them in conference and the other one to Virginia Tech.

Sure why not? But he isnt great. He has only been at ISU for what 2 years? I said he was good after listening to him talk at a coaching convention. But he is not great. He isnt even Kirk level yet. BTW Kirk is not great but he is good.
