Harrison Barnes put ISU in his final list because he didn't want to burn bridges any sooner than he had to but there was no way in God's green earth he was ever going to play for McDermott. The same thing is likely going on here because he would be just as crazy to waste his talents on Fran. The kid still has to finish school and live in the heart of hawkeye country. No and I never said that. Pretty obvious that's the case here because no good PG would want to go play for Fran but keep holding out hope!

Gesell was a top 100 guy. He chose Iowa as a PG. Was he a game changer? No. But he was solid. Now we have Bohannon who lacks defense but is good offensively. I a failing to see why no good PG wants to choose Iowa. Define good please is it top 50? Because then you have a good argument but not all good players are top 50. Jok was a 300 level recruit.

Depends who the recruit was. Campbell is a great coach so I would say yes. No good PG is going to play for Fran so it's apples to oranges

This doesnt make any sense. Carton just cut his list to 6 and is expecting to make a decision by the end of the summer at the latest. So he included Iowa in his Top 6 so he would only be miserable because of Hawk trolls for 12 months instead of 15 months?
