Expectations? Most hawk fans thought it was a year of a bubble birth. Not sure who expected to be in the tourney? Some might have but I did not think it was a sure thing. Most writers did not either. So hawk fans having enthusiasm to see their team get to the tourney is one thing. Actual predictions by unbiased sources said otherwise. That is what we use in this thread is opinion, not fact. Unless we have changed that again today........

Because that is what ISU fans called him while he was being recruited and playing for Iowa, now it is a change because that does not fit into the ISU narrative.

We didn’t call him a project, we just said he’s wasn’t that good. Still believe that.

Disagree, he’d be best suited to put on a little weight and play the five. He has shown great shot blocking ability and could hold his own defensively at the five if he added more size and strength. He would also create mismatch issues at the five offensively. He doesn’t create any mismatches playing the four.
