Any other P5 game would've brought in the same number of visiting fans and tailgaters? Doubtful. Traveling (outside of a couple hours across one state) is difficult for a lot of fans. It's not like ToE would've been putting 60K in Soldier Field by any means.
 
It isn't Pollard's fault. A contract was signed. Of course Pollard is going to say no. It would be stupid not to. If Barta didn't want to play ISU for a few years and wanted to schedule another opponent, he shouldn't have extended the series when he did.

He's straight up trolling, I'm going to call him out on it. Pretty clever to say Barta wanted out of the series when in reality it was Pollard who tried and got shut down. Lol little bro gonna little bro

Exactly. Breaking the contract would've been absolutely moronic for either case (on the receiving end, anyway). Dumber than s***.

The Correct answer is a wopping 31 programs since Iowa last landed in the top 10 of Saragin. Think about that for a minute. In 8 years only 31 teams have been in the top 10. Not a ton of parity there.

31 programs better than Iowa for sure and probably another 15-20 that had better finishes than Iowa's best since then too

well 12-2 in 2015 was not terrible and 12 wins is the best in program history so I doubt there have been 46-51 teams better than Iowa in the last 8 years with a 12-2 record. If that is what you are meaning.

What was their final ranking after that 12-2 season?
 
So Hawk trolls who flood this site with dozens of troll posts daily with multiple user names after being banned are posting in an obvious troll thread dissing Lazard about which fans are the biggest jackasses? Can’t make this stuff up. The wise words of Zach McCabe come to mind.

I just looked it up, they finished 23rd. So Iowa's best season ever was 23rd and ISU in CMC's second year was only two spots behind that? Interesting!

Well according to Saragin that was not the best season due to the records of opponents and such..... I am trying to hard arent I.......
