Gervase.
Remember during the season last year you were questioning whether Gervase or Josh Jackson was the worst player in Iowa's secondary?
Guessing the correct answer would still be Garvase. Yikes on that pass coverage

So if a backup doesn't have experience, Ferentz will risk the starter's health? That's unfortunate.Agree, no experience behind him at QB. There is talent there though.
He only had one start in 2016. His numbers weren't terribly impressive. Huge improvement in 2017.Bad that you couldnt tell the difference between a back up safety and a 1st round draft pick during the season last year.

I said I hope he doesn't get hurt because he'll be left out there to the wolves.Did I say that? I dont think I did.
I was agreeing with you that I hope he doesnt get hurt and if he did we may be in trouble due to the lack of experience behind him at QB.

I'm guessing if Jantz 2.0 is the best you have their isn't that much talent behind him
If Stanley was an ISU QB, he would have shattered the single season TD record as a sophomore and would have had the 8th most passing yards in single season history.
He also would already be tied, with Seneca Wallace, for 6th all time in career passing TD's in ISU history.
Um, correct me if I am wrong here, but wasn't the B1g the #1 rated defensive league last season? He would have had the single season record for fumbles too and would have played in a conference that actually played defense which would have lowered his already poor completion percentage

Let him go, hesrollingtrolling.
Both Kempt and Stanley averaged 2 TD's per game. The difference is Kempt doesn't fumble the ball and he's a lot more accurate
Stanley is going to have a really big season.
