Even Nicholas doesn't look very excited that his younger brother is coming to Iowa. That's a smile that says... "yeah, sure I'm excited he's coming... I guess.".

I clicked on the twitter announcement and scrolled down on that page. There were a number of posts about how the Hok Managers were "killing it" in the Mgr vs Mgr "tour." Apparently they were undefeated. So, maybe Baer Jr is a legitimate upgrade to their current roster - not that it would take much to be an upgrade in the first place.
Maybe they should have all of the managers walk on? Can you legally play 18 guys in a game?
Don't knock young Baer for being excited about playing with his brother. Everyone thought Nick was going to declare for the draft this year and it won't happen.

If the kid walked on and can help Iowa, I don't really see anything wrong with it. Probably not going to be the savior of their team, but we all saw what happens when you don't have enough guys to even practice.
