Is Fran building a regional powerhouse or just calling Iowa fans idiots and morons?

Maybe because the staff is going out of the state to get better players than they can in state. How have the instate kids worked for Iowa?
It worked pretty well for Fred Hoiberg, Hurl Beechum, and Loren Meyer. Admittedly that was one great year out of a century or so for the state of Iowa.
Pretty good actually, most of FM's misses have been out of state.....I get your point though and it wasn't a criticism. Found out after that post that Jacobson is from Iowa so it was a moot point anyway.

Are there 3 players of that quality in the state now? If there were players in the state worth getting in on I'm sure the staff would be. But there is no need to go after average players that are Iowa fans or legacy players.
Tyler Cook is leaving Iowa to go to the G League and we still get this level of craptastic hok b-ball **** posting here. I thought that would wise some people up but I should have known better. Iowa is looking at an upcoming period of futility that could surpass Lickliter, followed by another 10 years of the “he had to clean up Frans mess” narrative for the next guy. Enjoy the ride.
I can't wait until 2025 when the Iowa coach in year 5 is getting a pass because of what Fran did to the program

Pretty sure if he would have said that to Howe, HN would have brought the FCC into it and had would have pressed charges.
