Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

You are an idiot. I was responding to the notion that if a blue blood came along there is no doubt he would have taken it, when that is not true as is evidenced by what Lazard did. Are you really that slow?
@YeahBuddy I am genuinely interested in just how slow you are. I am just serious.

Oglesby III
Weiskamp is quite a bit better than Oglesby. But we'll see if that holds up when he gets into the McCaffrey Player regression program.

I think Weiskamp is pretty good. I see a longer, skinnier Matt Thomas type. Like MT people are expecting Weiskamp to light it up from outside, but as a Senior didn't shoot that great from 3. He finishes more at the rack, while MT utilized the mid-range shot more. Like Matt, it will take some time to adjust on the defensive end, but he's got the tools to be a good defender. Wieskamp is going to get thrown into the fire and get plenty of minutes, which can go either way. It will be interesting to see how he deals with what I think are too high of expectations out of the gate.

Listening to Jimmy B and TC podcast from yesterday and Kakert was on yesterday and he said he's expecting Cook to leave and Pemsl will take his spot in the starting lineup

Once I saw Iowa contacted Moyer as a sit out transfer I felt it was an indication that Cook was gone. It wouldn't make much since to add another 3-4 to the roster with Cook. Then again when it comes to Fran and roster construction it is impossible to predict.
(Other than ignoring the importance of PG)

@YeahBuddy who has Iowa been going after on the transfer route? I know ISU has been connected to a few kids so far

That seems problematic since his leg amputation in Ames. Or to put it another way: Unbelievable!
