Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

I'm hoping to see Tally work out a bit like rashon Clark. He put the time in and became a long and strong defender that developed into a rebounder that could really throw it down. All that came together and really took off as he learned to let the game come to him later in his career. If he can settle into doing those thing sooner rather than later, I can see him starting AND this team being really good.

Any "thoughts" that SOLO is "not good" needs to just be ignored.

He can't even return my serve. Talley was one of 4 players in the conference to average 10 5 and 2.5 and he thinks that's pretty bad

So what are your thoughts on Bohannon if he reaches these numbers?

Based on your Talley logic....best PG in the last 30 years of college basketball?

I don’t agree with any of his opinion pieces. It is hard to mess up a statement using basic stats, even for him.

You mean like talking about Jordan being in a club of one, but had to cut it off at 92 for some reason?

If Jordan accomplishes those numbers he will have had a great career. To do it in a P5 conference makes it even better. With that said, he will have done it on awful teams in a watered down, poor Big 10.

Ok, how many players accomplished it dating from when the 3 point shot was created in college basketball until 1992?

It looks like the answer is 0.

Garza is really good. He plays really hard, last year we put Solo on Cook and shut him down. With Garza's development, I'm not sure who we put on him when he is on the floor with Cook. Maybe Jacobsen? Lard might not have the mentality to do battle with Garza.
