Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

Wigginton was good except for his A/TO ratio.

Lard was good when he wasnt pouting or taking plays off.

Babb was good until his knee shut him down.

Talley and Young were not good.

You think Talley and Young were pretty bad? I mean that's a huge reach even for you

You said Talley was pretty bad

Stand by it. All you did was show me an 11 game stretch where the team was horrible and his minutes increased from 19.6 MPG in the first part of the season to almost 35 MPG in the 11 game stretch of when he started.

I am not shocked his production went up when his minutes per game almost doubled.

Talley first 12 games: 19.6 MPG, 5.0 PPG, 2.8 RPG, 1.0 APG, 41.2% FG, 9.0% 3FG

Talley last 11 games: 34.6 MPG, 10.3 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 2.5 APG, 47.2% FG, 40% 3FG

His shooting numbers went up from poor to decent.

Other than that, he was pretty much the same player but was just getting much more playing time. You said he was junk against the early season cupcakes but his per 40 numbers are not that much different between OOC and Big 12.

I would challenge Yeahbuddy to watch WVU at ISU in its entirety and then honestly reevaluate Talley. Without Talley ISU does not win that game.

There is a lot more to the game of basketball than is reflected in your basic box score.

So one game?

Then you can only evaluate Bohannon off of the game at Maryland during his freshman season. Without Bohannon, Iowa does not win that game.

Come on.

I literally have no idea how you can say Talley and Young are pretty bad. And you wonder why we all laugh at you

You lack any objectivity. Its pathetic.

Talley was good down the stretch and both him and Young were solid overall. To say both of them were "pretty bad" is laughable. If a player was bad I'll admit it. Terrence Lewis was awful last year. Doesn't mean I don't have hope for him to reach his 4 star potential in the future

One game that best exemplifies why the stats don't tell the whole story. He has been doing a lot of the little things every since Babb went down.

Come on.
