Some rough math and assumptions for the U of Iowa:

24 total sports
48 Conference champions (regular season + tourney) / year

480 chances over 10/year period

The great U of Iowa has won (4) out of 480 conference titles

Northwestern was the next worst with (10)

I can't believe he wouldn't want Shayok for the upcoming season. With that loaded roster you have to go all in. Shayok may be good for spot minutes to spell Nunge or Connor. Who knows, that might be what pushes them from an elite 8 to final four.

By Hawk media logic this last week, the Hawks are already a Final Four team due to playing Michigan close.

Don’t you want a homer? Zabel annoyed me because I hate Iowa but I would understand Iowa likes him.

The fish on the other hand is just plain BAD at his job. On of my favorite games is listening to Iowa football on the radio. You never know what is going on. Does Iowa have the ball? No idea. Where is thd ball? Not a clue. Was that play good for Iowa? Your guess is as good as mine.
