Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

Anybody who uses ESPN as a go to recruiting source is an idiot.
The next actual quote from twitter:

I realize 247 is better, but for the sake of the argument I used espn. 2 of those guys are outside the top 100 in 247. I meant 2 yrs of time not in 2 classes. Cook, Garza, CMC, JW, PMC all committed within about 2 years of each other. Regardless, talent is there and incoming.

Cook is probably leaving and word is Connor is not very good. I have a couple Hawkeye buddies who think Patrick is way overrated after seeing him at the state tourney

Run the 14 and 15 classes by me, just for kicks.

2014
Trey Dickerson - game changer PG Fran needs
Dom Uhl - Would have been a 5 star if he was in the US his whole playing career
Brady Ellingson - Sharp shooter, shot 50% from 3 in HS

2015
Brandon Hutton - going to be a fan favorite with his lockdown defense
Isaiah Moss - 6'7 SG savior from Simeon
Andrew Fleming - Oak Hill Legend
Dale Jones - 6'9 sharp shooter, lots of schools wanted him but he didn't let them offer
Christian Williams - Matchup nightmare at PG

Right, he said if he had to guess now that would be his guess but he has nothing concrete to go off.

You always agree with all the Clone beat writers/journalists that you like?

Youre schtick is getting more strange by the day.
Thoughts on threa on hn celebrating the almost win over Michigan. Moral victories!

Are G-League salaries rising? Last I had heard some of the players were making maybe 30k a season.

30k a year plus all expenses paid to do nothing but play basketball and practice basketball against better than the average college player all day every day. If you like basketball then that is a sweet deal, especially if you’re a tall freak athlete that always has Europe to fall back on.

Yeah sweet deal in the present, but then what are you going to do once your playing days are over. Not like that's enough to save some dough while looking for the next career opportunity. Sure, some guys will have connections and be set up, but not everyone.

Don't forget Wade Lookingbill says Moss plays like a lottery pick at times.

Give it a go for two years (which he otherwise would be making $0 in college). If it doesn’t work go to Europe.

You think Patrick is a top 50 player?
I don't get paid to evaluate recruits. I think he's really good, and the people that get paid by subscribers like yourself to evaluate recruits think at present he's the 36th best player in his class. Try to be somewhat objective for once.

I see Dale from Waterloo had over 20 points (he does have that kind of talent, at the low-major level) in losses to 5 different teams this year. He did not have over 20 points in any wins, however.

It also looks like he had a high school teammate of basketball and goth sensation Ryan Kriener on his team.

Connor was a 5 star at one point in his career. Don't pretend like his name doesn't effect his ranking. He's like 160 lbs and he can't shoot

He isn’t that good and will most likely be a non factor in college. But whatever helps you support Fran, pal.
