Can't decide if I want them both to look terrible, then watch those on the ledge jump, or they look great, and expectations go through the roof...
I think I wanna see them build themselves up, just to be disappointed after another below average year.

I watched Wieskamp playing for the very first time on TV. Even though he scored 25 points, I did not come away impressed. If he is going to play SG or SF as most Iowa fans are expecting, he really needs to improve his ball handling. He got his pocket picked few times and lost handle several times when he tried to drive to the basket. This might have been an off game but I can’t imagine him creating his own shots at next level unless he makes a significant improvement in his ball handling skills. I just can’t believe he is rated higher than THT.

Any player can have a bad shooting night so it is hard to assess shooting skills based on few games. But you can assess ball handling skills, agility, and quickness even based on a single game. He really needs to improve his ball handling skills if he is going to the savior for Iowa team next year.

Well, that's a lie because Espn bubble watch that just came out this morning has them still as a contender. And i already gave you an example of a team like Tulsa getting in who had a worse profile than Nebraksa. Why is so hard to understand for you?

Tulsa was 4-5 against the rpi top 50 and 4-3 against 51-100. They also beat #14 rpi SMU on the road. Neb is 1-6 against the top 50m 3-3 against 51-100 and their best road win is #110 Wizz.

Iowa fans have totally different take on his ball handling skills. According to some Iowa fans, Wieskamp had good handles considering he was double and triple teamed. I certainly didn’t see that. He had tough time going against the black player on IC West team. I still can’t believe he is rated higher than THT.

Weiskamp scored practically all his points on layups. Good luck trying to score inside next year with below average quickness. He looks just like their other players..step slow...not good enough ball handler for guard.

I really thought there would be more to his game.

Lol, ok, it's settled, all you need is quality wins right? So we will be getting a bid on Sunday, I mean by that logic Iowa St has more quality wins than Nebraksa, beat Tech, West Virginia, and Oklahoma.

It's about the entire profile, not because you beat Kansas twice but couldn't finish .500 in a confernce.

At some point you actually have to win games agains good teams. Their schedule didn't do them any favors and their best win was agains Michigan, 6 weeks ago. Otherwise, they beat a whole lot of crap teams at home.
