You seriously can't comprehend the last few words after "minority of what?"

What group am I a minority of?

People on Earth that like/dislike Barta?

Iowa fans that like/dislike Barta?

Iowa fans that post on CF that like/dislike Barta?

Wow!! Wonder what tune you would be singing if Pollard would have retained Cael and you guys would have won 5 national titles since then?

Wonder no more! Wrestling is dumb, it’s boring, it doesn’t make money, it’s a dying sport. If Carl Sanderson showed up to my doorstep I would tell him to drop the package on the front porch because I don’t even know what he looks like. For the vast majority of people that grow up in metropolitan areas wrasslin’ is the sport of the trailer park kids.

This is extremely sad to read. He is on the Mount Rushmore of ISU athletics and maybe the top athlete ever to play for ISU.

Lol. He’s right in between all time leading women’s basketball scorer that I don’t know the name of and our greatest football walk on in history Jeff woodley.

PSA: posters and site admin: stop trying to make wrestling happen. It’s not going to happen.

On a scale of 1-10, how much have you enjoyed this ISU basketball season?

Not including Iowa's struggles, just specifically talking about the ISU season.

I'd go with a 7.5. Some rough times, but also some great games, and it's always fun to see new players and watch how they develop and blend. Clearly we're building a strong foundation for next year, so I'm pretty pleased with that.

I get that everybody has a different opinion on this and it is impossible for me to know how much you have enjoyed this season, but a 7.5 for a last place team?? That seems to be very high even for the biggest of homers.

Glad to see so many ISU fans having fun at Iowa's expense while their own bball team put up another impressive showing on Saturday.

I'm happy you're happy that we're happy.

And yes, it brings me great joy to see Iowa fans act as if basketball season doesn't exist again. The last year of Hawkeye basketball has brought us predictions of future Final Fours from your players, more laughable preseason hype from your coach, the Hawkeye media going all-in on their epic March run to the NIT, and declarations of program superiority based on a 4-game run. Not to mention the incredulity from the Hassels and Jon Millers resulting from the disrespect of the vaunted Hawks in preseason polls. Talk about a hilariously bad echo chamber.

I love college basketball, and I have for 35 years. I've been through bad years where the team was experienced. Going into this year, with almost no returning experience, I knew that we were a completely unknown quantity. Best thing to do when that happens is just enjoy the experience of watching them grow. Three wins against ranked opponents helps a lot, particularly given how young we are. Seeing Lard and Wigginton develop into clear home run players does too. You can build around guys like that and our incoming class. Lots of good experience for these guys.
