All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

Auburn lost four games to Alabama's one.

2001 is another very close year. Iowa finished 8-5 with the 40th ranked schedule and ISU finished 7-6 with the 49th ranked schedule. ISU won head to head. Almost a coin flip really.

I would add that some incorrectly use this to conclude that if team A beats team B in September, then you can automatically conclude that team A would beat team B in December or January.

Case in point:

That 2001 game was postponed due to 9-11. Had that game been played in September I believe Iowa would have one easily. Likewise, for this season; I personally *think* if ISU and Iowa played again tomorrow, ISU would have the edge, due to scheme changes and team growth. You and others are free to disagree...

I think it would be another very close game just like the first one. ISU went 2-3 since November while Iowa went 3-2.

I'm asking according to you and your opinion. Yes or no?

I dont publish a ranking of college football teams so not sure why you are asking me.

Sagarin has Iowa at 18, which is 7 spots ahead of ISU.

Please link this at the end of next season and proclaim it as proof that ISU is good just like you did with an article dated May of 2017 earlier today to vouch for how difficult ISU's schedule was this year.

Typical yeahbuddy response by avoiding the question. Wouldn't expect anything less from him. Where did I point out ISU in my post? The USA article may have but I didn't. Just making reference to the number of teams from each conference. I just asked where Iowa was since the trolls on here seem think the Hawks are invincible.

Kinda funny that he pretty much has abandoned the Iowa Basketball threads and is back to Iowa Football threads.
