They both will hurt, but this one is a little more unexpected I feel. I don't feel he is ready yet, but if he is getting good feedback and looks to be in the top 3 rounds, can't really blame him either.

Why are you using Sagarin to compare the 2015 Iowa team and 2017 ISU team? You always used to use AP poll as your poll of choice if a team was receiving votes in that poll. Why the change?

Sounds like the lingering knee issues he has had is a factor in this decision. One more surgery and his stock could plummet.

Also, he is extremely young for his age so still has loads of untapped potential. He just finished his junior year and will not turn 21 until September.

I'm guessing after watching his teammate's mistake last year he isn't going to risk it. I didn't think he was good enough to go early but I don't think Peavy is either so who knows

I don't think he is either. Seems like he has whiffed on a fair number of blocks in his career. But he is a great athlete and has a lot of potential still, which is what the NFL mostly cares about. If he is hearing he will go in the top three rounds, then he is probably making the right decision.

Allen was second team all conference and Meeker should be on there he really graded out well this year
