You're gonna have to play and beat someone good eventually to be considered a perennial Top 25 program like Halk fans think Iowa is. Looks to me like nothing's changed at all from the 'FIRE KIRK NOW' years. Amazing what an easy schedule will do though.

He isn't nearly as big of a recruit as Woodbury. Woodbury was a top 50 player overall and Waggoner is another three star.

He was pretty much out of options. Either Row the Boat or get to face a Brian Ferentz led offense every day in practice so I can see why he did it.

Choke star Iowa will never play in the College Playoffs even though they play in a cupcake division, but for ISU, its just a matter of time before that happens even though we play big boys like Oklahoma, TCU, etc.
