UNLV at UNI

UNI has quite a noncon for a non Power 6 (Yes Big East).
UNC, Nova, NC State, Iowa State, Xavier, UNLV, SMU, exhibition vs Wisky.

Was watching and fell asleep at the end of the first half and just woke up with 8 mins to go. Not kidding. All I saw in the first half was UNLV turning it over and a really slow pace. Did anything change?
Does anybody else think Carlson on UNI could be Fran McCaffery’s 30 year old son?
I really like Pickford's game even though he's struggling to score tonight. Carlson is solid. Koch is meh.

Overtime. Juiston wasn’t getting us to the tourney this year. UNI will beat us.

It’s just their style. It’s terrible and I’m sure I’d hate playing against it as much as I hate watching it.
The younger Clyburn is very solid. So is Juiston. He’d start this year for sure.

I wouldn’t trade that for Lards development though. Juiston is just another guy in the Big 12.
UNI has a great resume started at this point, but not sure any of it matters if they don't win the MVC tourney. I just don't see an at large bid from that league. They are very solid though. Typical Jacobsen team.
UNI is very good, and will be a great test for our young team.
Jusiton has Big 12 body and would definitely be useful. He'd be getting Beverly's minutes. As for playing UNI, most think they should have trouble with athletic teams. I think hitting 3's, stretching them out, would cause them more problems. Not Cyclone strength, but probably more so than UNLV.
Winning the free throw battle and getting enough cheap put backs from the offensive glass will be key vs UNI. I do think we match up fairly well defensively with them. Obviously can’t turn the ball over or we’ll be in the 50’s with the bore-ball that they play.
Depends on their season. The thing is that if they're good enough to get an at-large there's not much of a reason not to win the MVC with Wichita State out of the picture now. Best team in that league besides UNI is... Valpo? Missouri State? Loyola? No one scares you.
