Oh, I see. So this is what the hok staff is coaching? Makes sense. You're not going anywhere, might as well try to have some oddity value for entertainment purposes.
So Nebby choose to kick off into the wind, instead of taking the wind and getting an automatic touchback, and trying for a 3 and out and making Iowa punt into the wind. Instead they choose to kick into the wind and allow a return. Horrible coaching.
You got me. Huck the Fuskers. It makes me even angrier when I root for them, and the **** the bed.I’m starting to wonder if you just have a blinding hatred for Nebraska?
The score was 14-14 when that decision was made. You absolutely kick into the wind after half so you get it in the fourth quarter if it comes to a field goal (which it won’t at this point now).
I also strongly disagree with this. You don't know if it will come down to a field goal, but you absolutely do know that will effect your kick-off and the impending field position game that is a Kirk Ferentz 3rd quarter.I’m starting to wonder if you just have a blinding hatred for Nebraska?

Isn't Okozebo or whatever the **** his name is the guy we "missed" on?
If my "missed" you mean was poached, then yes. But I think we signed Warren with his scholly? Or was it Montgomery?Isn't Okozebo or whatever the **** his name is the guy we "missed" on?

To each his own, but pretty much every coach would disagree with this philosophy. It’s kind of like choosing to go on offense first in overtime.
