Atomic Bomb Please Game

th

Ferentz is here to kick ass and chew bubblegum - and he's all out of kick ass.

So Nebby choose to kick off into the wind, instead of taking the wind and getting an automatic touchback, and trying for a 3 and out and making Iowa punt into the wind. Instead they choose to kick into the wind and allow a return. Horrible coaching.

I’m starting to wonder if you just have a blinding hatred for Nebraska?

The score was 14-14 when that decision was made. You absolutely kick into the wind after half so you get it in the fourth quarter if it comes to a field goal (which it won’t at this point now).

I also strongly disagree with this. You don't know if it will come down to a field goal, but you absolutely do know that will effect your kick-off and the impending field position game that is a Kirk Ferentz 3rd quarter.

To each his own, but pretty much every coach would disagree with this philosophy. It’s kind of like choosing to go on offense first in overtime.
