There's a difference between having an opinion on a subject and what Hebstreit did. We may have taken a coach from Toledo, but we didn't start tweeting Mid season, "Hey, get over it now Toledo fans, we're taking your coach as soon as this season is over. Don't try to stop us, he's gone!"
There is still a certain level of decorum you offer a team, so they can have a season based on results, not distractions. Even if there is zero chance that CMC leaves after this year, it's still a distraction that doesn't need to be there.
honestly, if I had a spare hundred million around, I'd be all over Twitter right now, saying I'm going to give JP all the money he needs to hire Urban Meyer away from Ohio St. Because as I said, weather or not he would leave tOSU is not the issue, it's the fact that now, mid season, you have reporters asking, "Where are you going next year."
