Gotta figure the Redeemers. I don't follow the NBA much, but will speculate that the dropoff on the bench for the Celtics is much more drastic the further down you go, than the redeemers.

And you have just about the best players in the league in the starting line-up for the redeemers. Maybe just a marginal edge, over the Celtics. Maybe not one at all. But there's more top tier talent on the team as a whole.

I'd take the redeemers in a 7 game series. But game to game might be darn near a toss-up

The Redeem team or the Boston Celtics?
Redeem team...Booze matched up with KG, and D Howard can dominate. And with the way Wade is playing, with Lebron and Chris Paul, the redeem team would win easily, IMO. But it might be a different story played under olympic rules...Chris Paul is a lot less effective in the international style, as is Carmelo, etc.

Carmelo is actually much more effective under FIBA rules than NBA rules. His shot has struggled this tourney however.

Don't discount the continuity that the Celtics would have over the redeems. Plus, the redeemers bigs would struggle with Garnett. They don't really have anyone who could guard him.

IMO, Lebron can guard him, as can Dwight. Lebron only gives up 2 inches, and he is just as strong. (Lebron is freakishly strong. I remember a quote from an NBA vet something along the lines of Lebron is the 2nd strongest player in the NBA, besides Erik Dampier.)

Garnett has 5 inches on Lebron. There is no chance James could guard Garnett. Howard would do better, but would struggle to handle him on the wing.
