Tiger Woods arrested for DUI

It's a ton of **** to be in someone's system. To play devil's advocate a little:

- THC: legal for medicinal purposes in Florida, stays in a person's system for a long time. Weeks. Quite possible it was not "active". Now, it could have been, sure, but it's just as likely it wasn't

- Xanax: as far as I know, this is an anxiety/depression medication. Not a reach that he takes this at least twice daily, as prescribed

- Vicodin and Dilaudid: pain meds and everyone knows this guy has been under the knife a ton, including multiple and well documented back surgeries

- Ambien: look back through the thread and you'll see how I feel about this drug, but if someone is on everything else above, it may be tough to sleep, and other golfers made comments before his fall from grace that he doesn't sleep

I'm only pointing out that he probably has a legitimate reason to be prescribed each and every one of these drugs. Now...no one, ever, should be taking them all at once.

Dilaudid -> That's some crazy **** to see someone on when actually managing pain. Honestly, there's no reason he should be on that for routine pain management. I could see it coming up in his system if he just tore his body into a million pieces and is dropped at the ER that has a several hour wait to sew him back together.

Not really. It's often used by people in pain due to surgery, and can be perscribed for people who have built up a tolerance for lesser pain killers. In those cases, the drug does come in slow release form. He probably fits that category considering how many surgeries he's had. Interestingly, a couple of side effects include nervousness and depression (i.e. Xanax perscription)

I think we should all wait to hear from Tiger's PR guy, Tre4ISU, before drawing any conclusions

You could at least tag me instead of sub posting.

This isn't really new info with the exception of the THC, which I've been told isn't a big deal and it probably isn't with the other concoction. It's funny you tag me as a PR guy when all I've done is state facts.

I bet some money he was self medicating. He has a history of extreme insomnia so the Ambien or Xanex makes sense for that but likely not both. Same for the pain killers since he wasn't that far removed from surgery. All that said, looking at pictures of him now, I don't know what he's been doing but the next back surgery shouldn't be far away. Definitely lifting again.

I rest my case....

On the Tiger Woods poster above your bed, is he doing the fist pump move or maybe in mid-swing?
