Tiger Woods arrested for DUI

To each their own. There was also some suspicion with pain killer addiction with the incident in 2009 where his wife handed the police empty bottles of Vicodin and Ambien. Im not saying he is an addict at all, because I have no idea and that would be unfair to just assume he was. But the suspicion is obviously present.

The thing is, though, with all these suspicions, there is also a completely reasonable explanation. Wright Thompson wrote about him going days without sleep. Rory has talked about getting texts at 3 in the morning where Tiger was working out so I would expect that he's been on Ambien for some time. I would actually be surprised if it wasn't in his system that night. I suppose, at the point you're talking about, Vicodin probably wasn't relevant to his knee surgery but he's hardly ever not been dealing with something since that point. I've said before that he could be addicted to pain killers. My point is that this is really the first time there's been an issue that would make it even close to obvious.

I think we agree. All I said is you have to wonder. With the amount of pain he has had to deal with, its not completely out of the realm that he may have become addicted.

I also dont throw those suspicions around to deter his character at all. Even if he is addicted, that doesn't make him a bad person. Pain pill addiction is pretty easy to come by. Im a Tiger fan, and I wish like hell he could get back to where he was. I enjoyed watching golf when he was great, and anymore, the only golf I watch is the back 9 of the final pairing on the final day of the Masters.

He's done in golf.

The guy in the cam video didn't have a "medication mix-up", that's laughable.

Amen. It is very clear from watching that video that Woods was totally unsafe to be behind the wheel of a car in his condition. He was extremely messed up. To claim that they had a "bad reaction" or "mix up" from their prescription medicines is a common excuse used by celebrities as an excuse for abusing drugs and driving impaired.
Tiger should go back and thank the cops for saving his life and/or the lives of anyone he may have hit.

Yeah he should really be quite thankful nothing worse happened. Could have been fatal.

I guess I disagree. I've never had a "medication mix-up" but Im positive that the improper mixing of certain medications could cause what happened. I believe his story, but as I said yesterday, I think its fair to question if he may have an addiction, but no one here knows if he is or not, and its completely unfair to just assume he's an addict based off what is known.

I have a few friends that have taken Ambien and it completely messed them up. One got up and drove in the middle of the night and had no recollection of doing so. Another ones wife said he would wake up in the middle of the night, go downstairs, and start eating anything in site - including cat food. But the guy had no idea he was doing it.

Medication mix up or overdose is definitely possible, likely probable here.

I have. Not good. Luckily I was staying put at home but I was completely out of it.

How do u know he isn't thankful?

Because he's Tiger Woods and people have heard before that he treats everyone, especially old people and dogs, like ****. I was actually kind of impressed by how respectful he was. I mean, he was trying but he just didn't have a clue what was going on.

Sort of like thinking you're in California when you're in Florida?

I don't know Tiger Woods or how he "treats people" - just know that not following doctors' instructions about your pain meds and taking them out of compliance, plus getting in a car at 2 am, not having a clue what is going on, and putting people at risk, is irresponsible and reckless.
But the Tiger worshippers give him a break I guess.

Nice clean Nike shirt for the dashcam video.

So who is giving him a break? Not one person is giving him a break but yet everyone feels the need to bash Tiger when they have no clue to the actual story regarding his meds. Ridiculous that you call out a couple people stating facts but your perfectly fine assuming something when you don't have a clue about what happened between Tiger and his doctor.
