Iowa Football Recruiting

I've been trolled! Oh no!

If you think that is trolling you clearly are mistaken for on what trolling means. A ticket on the 50 yard line for Iowa (7 games) cost $405. A ticket on the 50 yard line for ISU (6 games) is $425. Iowa makes more money in ticket revenue and donations but it is a fact our premium seating tickets cost more.

K. Thanks for explaining that to me. Because it makes total sense.

No, saying the Iowa athletic department is in trouble because of a 3 million dollar accounting loss is clueless.

Never said that the Iowa Athletic Department was in financial trouble. I stated the Fact that Iowa Athletic Department has reported consecutive losses of approximately $3 million for the last 2 years. That is a fact.

And you stated that the reason for Cael and Freddie leaving was because of money. It wasn't. So just stop lying.

What I said is true though, it's not BS.

And if you believe that, then I can't say anything that will change your mind. It's dug too far into the sand.

But I have a feeling you don't believe it, and you think making that statement is fun trolling. And if sounding dumb is fun trolling, have at it. I won't stop you.

The Hawk fans will argue for the next 6 pages on it and then move on to the next topic I suppose.

Every ticket to Iowa cost the same, they aren't tiered. Our non premium seats are much cheaper than theirs but our premium seating is actually more expensive because all their tickets are $405. Learn your facts before you come at me.

Explain it to me again. I haven't quite caught on. Thanks.

Greg Davis is only as good as the system that he is allowed to run....

Greg was never a good hire, and most Hawk fans didn't like it before the first year was even done.

As we say hindsight is 20/20. Ferentz strayed from what he is comfortable in doing and the lack of production offensively was evident as Davis passing offense didn't really mesh with the Ferentz rushing attack. The good thing was Brian and the offense line did well at what they always had done, and that is running the ball in a zone blocking scheme. What Iowa struggled with for 5 years was a consistent passing game. Keep in mind that is with 4 out of the 5 years the offense being run by QB's who were drafted into the NFL. YIKES!

Mr. Elite had to resort to buying a replica of Floyd since the real thing pretty much takes up permanent residence in Iowa City.

Thats a really good point. I am very excited to have KOK back leading the QB's.

I am going to enjoy kicking some Rodent ass with PJ at the helm. That fan base is pathetic with their We hate Iowa chants.

I would Summerize it like this.

Some Cyclone fans are overcharged for their tickets in order to subsidize the vast majority of tickets that are sold at cheap rates.

We have corners of end zone and the grass areas that are cheaper tickets. Everything on the sides from about goal line to goal line are $425 each plus required donation to the Cyclone Club. Student sections are also cheap.

Our ticket policies seem to be working okay. Our attendance is actually on a general uptrend over the last several years. And remember that Iowa State has 6 home games, not 7 home games.

I have the feeling that Minnesota will be kicking Iowa's ass with fleck as coach. I think most hok fans feel threatened by him.

I might hate them more with Fleck as the head man, but I fear Fleck less than Coach Kill. Now that was a good football coach.
