Iowa Football Recruiting

Bet you that ISU averages closer to 60,000 average paid attendance this year rather than 50,000.

ISU should be at capacity with the prices they charge. Season tickets for $175, that is affordable as hell. That is 6 saturdays of supposed entertainment for cheap, cheap, cheap. Throw on top of that ISU is offering a 3 pack of tickets for $99 or $125.

Jack Trice should be sold out every game with prices like that. Fans should be on waiting lists to get tickets when these are the prices that are charged. So no, I'm not gonna bet that ISU will be closer to 50k rather than 60k paid attendance. The real question is why don't more Clone fans show up at these prices?

You were saying the trend is down for Iowa State Football attendance. Even you believe that Iowa State will likely have their biggest average paid attendance for football ever.

Iowa State also has season tickets that cost $750 apiece as well.

Your failure to accept my bet shows just how weak your argument is, Little Brother.

How quick Iowa fans forget how they had to lean on Kirkwood students to fill the stands during their magical 12-2 season. Hop on fellas, the old black and gold band wagon has plenty of room.

Speaking of Lil Brother I would take your bet in even number years when Iowa doesn't play at Jack Trice. Notice a pattern here?

2016-52,500
2015-56,500
2014-52,200
2013-55,400

Why is isu behind Iowa in revenue by $30m if isu prices their football tickets so high?

Yes. I see a pattern of really good attendance for some pretty bad teams. Impressive.

Cool... Just curious but did Kirkwood students have the opportunity to buy tickets again last year or this year or is that no longer an option since so many people jumped on board?

Almost as bad as having to discount already cheap season tickets for "Young Adults", right?

Kirkwood students can get cheaper ISU season tickets than they could at Iowa. Are you bashing kirkwood kids for wanting to watch a winning football team?
