For what it's worth, CG, I'd even leave the car in. Between that and the blue in the sky between the mountains and the grass being brighter, the colors stick out more in the first. The second is just kind of a lot of gray and brown. And while it may be more Scotland-ish, you're blowing it up and putting it on a wall. I'm thinking for what you're going to pay for that, you're going to want it to not blend in to the wall.

So for any computer nerds in here:

My wifi on my laptop keeps disabling. Like, not just disconnecting from my wifi, but it will suddenly say I don't even have wifi capability because it can't detect the hardware. It just randomly does this and I have to restore the system to a prior date just to get it to work again. It did it last week then again last night, but has already done it twice this morning.

Any ideas what's going on with it? It is an old laptop (got it around 2011, 2012-ish) so I guess it may be crapping out on me. I just hate to buy a new one because I've had zero other problems with this before this stuff started happening last week.

I'm no expert but isn't the wifi part of a LAN card? It just might be that card is crapping out on you.

So my SIL and BIL are moving to the Orlando/Tampa area just because. Whatevs I am not heart broken. So they are down there this week with my MIL looking for jobs and apartments. SIL posted a picture of BIL going to second interviews today and he was wearing a dress shirt and tie. I texted MrsWx that I was shocked that he even owned anything like that since I have never seen him anything other than sweats or hipster stuff other than their hipster wedding. Her response "He didn't. She texted last week to see what you liked and what he should wear."

Having grad student son in Orlando, going to assume Tampa would be better. A lot of crime in Orlando.

From what I remember of these people, they have few marketable skills. Can't imagine the expense of living somewhere safe given the jobs they might get? Maybe he can be that hipster running Thunder Mountain.

Agreed. Don't get fixated on the car. If it really bothers you that much you can crop from the bottom up to just nix the offending automobile, but I like it better as is.

Every time I type "automobile" I hear it in Dong's voice in my head.

It should be real easy for someone to do something with that in photoshop. You should be able to just copy the bushes that are behind the car and paste them right over on top of it.

This. My sister does all my photoshop work for me, but that was going to be my suggestion. "Clone" the greenery near the car and stamp it over where you would cut/erase the car out. Might want someone to do that, especially if you are going to enlarge it. Might be more obvious the bigger the picture gets.

that's what I thought, just use the bushes right next to it but I don't have photoshop. Also, Dh is fine with the car as well, which seems to be the consensus here. So maybe I have to rethink.

Hmmm....I'll have to check out the prices compared to that of a new laptop. Literally all I use my laptop for is Netflix, Spotify, YouTube and Pornhub, and to stream ISU games, so Its not like I need a suped up powerful one.

Might ask my corporate tech guy at work on his opinion too.

Without the car you don't have any scale reference. Actually, pictures of big scenery I have taken never satisfy me because the whole 3D sense from beiing there is just lost. You could just crop to include some of the road for some scale.

GIMP for the win. Got that loaded on my laptop cause I am too cheap and not proficient enough to buy some of the Adobes programs. I should really take a class. It's not like I do not have the time.

I like the road one too, so does DH. I really like pictures with roads in them and valleys that go into the picture. I know the road one is probably the nicer one but my brain says YOU NEED TO GET ALL THREE MOUNTAINS. So my compromise to myself is I have to get rid of the car.

though honestly, the more I look at coo picture, the more I like it. Be cute in a baby's room, ha.

yeah a lot of my pictures of locations I know were impressive in person just don't translate nicely in the photos.
