Iowa Football Recruiting

I'm learning a lot though at least. I had no idea Ferentz didn't have control over his own program or Hawkeye fans think ISU basketball and immediately think loaded roster

Who said Ferentz doesn't have control over the program?

Ferentz has lost control of his own program

KF can't be in every portion of the football performance center to prevent Randy Peterson from putting up an isu poster. The facility is just too massive. I can see why an isu fan doesn't understand this.

So gifs, myths and derp is all you have.

If he doesn't have say in what's being hung up in his football facilities and in players lockers he doesn't have complete control over the program. Common sense

KF has better things to do than make sure Randy Peterson doesn't put up Pollard/isu propaganda.

Still no link where Iowa coaches did what you claim?

Link?

Cy Twins has proved that all he can do is cling to myths he puts forward. He will never back up his myth with a link, that is why it is a myth.

Weee

I missed quite a bit since I was on rivalry section.
Don't worry, I have you covered. Monday is either going to be an ANF discussion or back to Play in Game vs NCAA Tournament. Tune in if either subject interesting to you. Hell, they might hit on both of them.

Good times.

Listen, I get that this is your troll and all, but can't you do better than this?

That's why he has such a big staff and he still can't control his own locker room. Makes sense why he can't control the program over the long period of bowl prep

It's not trolling at all. If Campbell didn't have control over what was put up in the football facilities and what's being put in players lockers I would say he doesn't have complete control over the program

Pretty sure you guys wake up and think "what kind of pointless **** can I argue about on Fanatic today?"

You aren't "So Proud" of Cy Twins? I am glad he doesn't pollute Iowa boards and keeps his obsession here for all to see.

I personally think he is a tremendous Ambassador for isu. A shinning example of what makes isu great. This site should be required reading and a useful resource for potential students and student athletes. Shouldn't everyone know ahead of time what the isu culture is all about?

Only 70 more posts on o 8,000.

isu facilities are so tiny that CMC can police them all at all times? No wonder he is always sleeping at his desk.

I am learning a lot about isu.

You are really bad at this.

Yes, coaches that have control of their program and their staff have control of what is being put in players lockers and what is being hung up in the football facilities

Wait it sounds like it did come from the program. So yeah it's definitely Iowa's Super Bowl

Ferentz hardly displays a public “rah-rah” persona before any game. His levelheaded approach upsets some Iowa fans, who accused him after losses of not placing enough importance on the series.

But Ferentz’s public comments and actions belie that perception. The program has placed Iowa State posters on doors in its football facility.

“I think the bottom line is for any player or anybody that hasn’t been associated with the game, they need to understand there is a different degree of intensity in this game. That’s just the way it’s going to be,” Ferentz said in 2009. “It’s the way it has been going 10 years back.”

Players seem to agree too

“Coach (Kirk) Ferentz sits us down and said, ‘This is Iowa State, and they don’t like us,’” Iowa senior linebacker Quinton Alston said. “This is our rivalry game — the Cy-Hawk Game — and it’s a big game for the city and the state. So there’s not much to talk about.”

“I just hate Iowa State,” Iowa linebacker Fred Barr said. “I hate those guys. I can’t stand them.

“They’ve been so cocky the last couple of years just because they’ve beaten us a few times. I mean if I even see red, it makes me sick.”

My personal favorite

“When people think rivalries, the first that comes up is Iowa State,” Iowa cornerback Shaun Prater said in 2011.

It's a big rivalry. Yourself or anyone arguing that either UI or ISU care less is tired and played out. Both teams care, it means a lot for both teams and their respective fan bases. I know it gets a rise out of some of the mouth breathers on this board, but people from either fan base perpetuating the myth that one team cares less than the other is honestly just lazy and unoriginal.

To bad your link doesn't show Iowa coaches put up the posters. Why does Peterson have to do Pollards work? Can't Jamie do it himself?
